Introduction to Bro Let's Go!

Hi everyone! Welcome to Bro Let's Go! I'm Bec Grant, a Dog Mom from Morris County, NJ. With my husband, Dan, we have a WONDERFUL rescue! An American Pitbull Terrier mix named Brodie, who is the inspiration behind Bro Let's Go!

We adopted Brodie in December of 2020 from St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ. (If you're looking for a great rescue, we highly recommend them!)

Brodie is a bit of an...energetic dog. He's ALWAYS ready to go. So having a plan, something to do, somewhere to go, pretty much anything to get him stimulated and exercised was very important! He loved to be outside and exploring!

He's been to breweries and cideries. He's gone camping and on a TON of hikes. And of course, infinite trips to the lake! We live there, so the last one is easy!

From the day we brought him home, we documented everything on Instagram! In just the first week, I have about 200 pictures of Brodie on my phone...so @BackwoodsBrodie was born. We share all of our adventures, training wins, the many many training fails (transparent training!!), "Nut Job" moments, window sleeps, and cuddle sessions!

On our most recent camping trip, I broke out my brother's old DSLR that had been gifted to me forever ago. He's a professional photographer and brings a camera EVERYWHERE, so I thought I would try it and get some GREAT pictures of Brodie!

Well I had so much fun with taking and editing the pictures from that trip, that I decided to start bringing the camera on more of our adventures!

And that's what inspired Bro Let's Go! Taking pictures of my Brodie boy on all of the adventures we take. Share the good, the bad, and the ugly of each place on more then just Instagram. Tell our stories of the crazy of Brodie, his big training wins, his (sometimes funny, sometimes not) training fails, and everything in between!
